Equalizer Workout

We have a pile of Lebert Equalizers laying around in the gym at work, so I thought it would be fun to create a couple of circuits for my fitness group yesterday using these yellow contraptions.  Equalizers require the use of your own body weight, and I think everyone was pretty tired afterwards.  Plus, it’s great to change it up from the standard dumbbell exercises in order to shock the system!



[Takes a little under 30 minutes to complete both circuits]


Equalizer Circuit 1
45 seconds per station w/ 15 second rest
Repeat Once

1. Horizontal Chest Press


2. Mountain Climbers


3. Tricep Dips




4. Squat Jumps

5. Vertical Rows



6. Jumping Jacks








Equalizer Circuit 2
45 seconds per station w/ 15 second rest
Repeat Once

1. Jump Chest Press






2. Around the T




3. Side Bicep Push Ups
Switch arm the second time around





4. Core Run














5. Unilateral Deadlift
Switch leg the second time around




6. Agility Drill
