Well, here we go again. Another Monday.
Most Mondays, I require an extra motivational kick to get me going. It’s always tough to face reality after you’ve had a fun-filled weekend. To be honest, mine wasn’t very eventful and was slightly dampened by a bout of homesickness. So, I’m perfectly content with the fresh start of a new week. Bring it!
My day wasn’t overly exciting, but seemed to fly by nonetheless. I filled my time with a mother’s group meet up, groceries, a walk, laundry, and lots of time with the Bubs as per usual. I also made a chicken fried brown rice dinner, but we gobbled it down in roughly 4.5 minutes with a crying baby as background music. So unfortunately I have zero pictures to share of that creation, but I will be making it again very soon and posting the recipe for you, as both Adam and I really enjoyed it!
I made some cookies on Saturday, and as I stated earlier on the Femme Fitale Facebook page, I’ve been a total cookie monster since. See, I have a problem when it comes to baked goods. If they are on my counter, in the pantry, or even in the freezer…I will eat them. I can’t be stopped. Luckily, these cookies were made without butter and sugar (minus the chocolate chips of course), so I don’t feel as guilty after consuming 3 of them in one day. Oopsie!
Adam went to bed at the same time as Thomas tonight. This is really the only downtime I have throughout the day, so chose to spend it wisely:
