Out with the old and in with the new(ish)…
As you can see, Femme Fitale has undergone a slight makeover and she’s feeling a little self conscious about stepping out in public for the first time. From the outside, she looks sliiiightly different from her old self, but you can totally tell it’s still her, right? The important thing is what’s happening on the inside. She feels much better about life and her future looks a whole lot brighter. 😉
For those of you who blog or kind of understand the whole techie side of things, I’ve switched over to a self-hosted WordPress site. For a girl with a bit of a ‘technicap’, I never thought this day would come! If this means nothing to you, don’t worry. Doesn’t matter. I barely know why it matters, but I’m just rolling with what I’ve been advised to do! Basically, it’ll just give me a whole lot more flexibility and control over the blog, design, layout, content, etc. Unfortunately, all of my comments (!!!!!) from the past few months did not make the move and were sadly lost in the transition (insert a very sad face). Although some of the layouts and pictures look a little odd, my posts all seemed to make the journey. Thank goodness.
I’ve updated a few things, added a few things (whaddup, Instagram!?), deleted a few more…you get the idea. There will certainly be many more inconspicuous tweaks over the next little while. Also, several of my links in the Fitness & Food pages are out of whack, so I’ll be fixing them over the next few days. So as you can see, things are definitely a work in progress, but I wanted to get the blog up and running ASAP just so I can focus on content again. I’ve missed you guys!
I’ll be back with a fresh post tomorrow, but simply wanted to say hello and let you know that we’re finally up and running again. It’s definitely been a stressful week trying to get this site figured out. Thanks for your patience and messages of concern! Oh, and please let me know what you think of the layout, or if you experience any issues with the blog. Looking forward to getting this show (back) on the road. xo
