Fitness Inspired Gifts: For Him

So after some positive feedback on my “Fitness Inspired Stocking Stuffers for Her” post, I decided to do one for the sporty men in our lives. Instead of stocking stuffers, I divided gifts up into three price categories: Under $50, $50-$150, and $150+. So depending on your budget, these items can go into a stocking or be wrapped under the tree! Please keep in mind I used US prices, but everything can be ordered online and/or converted to your currency.

These gift ideas have all been man approved and are geared towards the average gym-goer and fitness buff {I stayed away from the avid sports fan; that opens up a whole other sector of gift giving and I wouldn’t even know where to begin!}

Ho Ho Ho!

1. Men’s Health Subscription: Magazines aren’t just for the ladies! There are tons of great fitness tips, inspiration, recipes, and healthy living articles to be found inside these covers. There is also an iPad subscription option as well!

2. SIGG Water Bottle: Swiss made, BPA & toxin free, large opening for ice cubes and allowing for big man gulps on the treadmill!

3. P90X Yoga: Yoga at home that’ll make him sweat. Will encourage the guy who doesn’t feel comfortable joining a studio. Male instructor. Will make him realize that yoga is not a joke.

4. Gym Chalk: For the men who believe, “Men don’t wear gloves.” Great for dead lifts and snatches.

5. American Apparel Hooded Drawstring Sweater: Made in the US, lightweight, great for going to/from the gym and warming up.

6. Tribest Personal Blender: Great for making smoothies at work {could pair with favourite protein powder}.

7. Fitbit Force Watch: Calorie counter/watch/sleep tracker…tons of features, lightweight, and a top fitness gadget choice on CNet.

8. Lululemon Tech Short Sleeve: The perfect man shirt. Durable material, lots of manly colours, anti-shrink, AND most importantly, anti-stink.

9. Bose Sport Earbuds: Bose makes some awesome headphones, but these ones are specifically made for exercise. They remain in place and are water/sweat resistant. I have the regular earbuds, and love them! The sound is perfect.

10. Nike Free 5.0: Indestructible, machine washable, and versatile.

11. Omega Rubber Watch Strap: A higher-end accessory, perfect for the gym or outdoor activities.

12. Billy Kirk Gym Bag: Made in the US, large enough for two changes of clothing, and holds up over time. Its design is also appropriate for travel and/or carrying belongings into the office post-workout.

So, what do you think? Would you add anything else to this man-friendly fitness gift list? Were any of these items already on your radar?

Happy shopping!

I’m not affiliated in any way with the above brands. I simply selected items based upon experience, recommendations, and conversations with the fit-men in my life!
