It’s been a little while since I’ve done a Monthly Faves post, but it seemed like a nice and concise way to recap October: our last month as a family of 3! November is going to be a crazy one over here, so I’ve tried to enjoy October to its fullest, in particular the amazing weather we’ve been having as of late. It’s definitely my favourite time of year in Queensland.
We enjoyed a lovely Labour Day long weekend over the past few days here in Australia. Adam and I decided it would be nice to get away for a couple of nights before our parenting duties double. In our 2+ years here in Brisbane, we’ve seen a fair bit of the Sunshine and Gold coasts, but one place we hadn’t spent any time was Byron Bay. A town renown for its beaches, backpackers and bohemian style, we had a great couple of days roaming around this little beachside gem. Our last mini getaway as a family of three!
Social media is a powerful tool. It keeps us entertained, enlightened, and informed. It gives us the ability to stay connected and let our voices be heard. It can even allow us to generate inspiration and “dream big”. Yet, despite the positives, there are elements that continue to present problems.
