Foot care tips at home | Home remedies for tired feet

Feet often get ignored by us and lack of proper foot care sometimes may lend us into trouble or an embarrassing situation. Some of the common symptoms are tired feet, the dry & hard skin of feet, cracks in the heel, blisters, and corn. To protect feet from these conditions one has to pay attention to regular foot care. These tips can help to relax the tired feet and makes the skin smooth and beautiful.

Epsom salt

Add 2 tablespoon of Epsom salt in a quart or two gallons of lukewarm water and then dip tired feet in them for 5- 10 min and then immerse them in cold water rub them with a sponge and then moisturize them. This technique gives relief from tired feet and also makes your feet soft and supple.

Lavender oil to relieve tired feet

Add a few drops of lavender oil in a bucket of warm water. Dip your feet for 10-15 min in water, this gives relief form tired feet.

Yogurt to nourish feet

Mix 1 teaspoon of lemon juice in a ½ cup of yogurt and then apply this mixture on your feet and leave it for 5 min after that with the help of brush scrub off all the dead skin from your feet and then rinse off. This method helps to moisturize the dry skin of your feet.

Sea salt

Add 2 tablespoon of sea salt and 1 teaspoon of baking soda in warm water. Put your feet in this water for 10 minutes and then scrub your feet. This method will thoroughly clean your feet, so help to prevent the development of any fungal and bacterial infection in feet.

Lemon

Rub the skin of lemon on to your feet, helps to give relief from the hard and dry skin of your feet.

Cornstarch to heal blisters

Cornstarch powder draws moisture from the skin and reduces friction if applied before putting on your socks. This helps to relieve and heal blisters very effectively. You can put some cornstarch powder on your feet directly or put some cornstarch powder into a plastic bag and place your feet into the bag then put on the socks.
